Applying for a role

So you’ve spotted a role that you think might be right for you– what’s next?

Applying for a role with the NSW Government might seem daunting and time-consuming at first: preparing your application, addressing focus capabilities; answering targeted questions; submitting your application online. It seems like a lot to have to do to apply for a job, but it’s only a small investment compared to the benefits and career opportunities you’ll gain if you’re successful in securing a role with NSW.

We want to make sure our selection process is as fair and transparent as possible, so we give you a few opportunities to showcase your capabilities, depending on how far you progress in the selection process.

If you have a disability and need an adjustment to be made to the assessment process, please don’t hesitate to let the nominated contact know so they can accommodate you.
