“The young employees of today are the future leaders of tomorrow. It’s important to develop and keep young talent who can work for NSW,” says Ziggi, Director Capital at NSW Treasury.
“I strongly believe it’s important to give them the tools to control their futures, including by having a workplace where we can learn from each other and collaborate together to deliver quality outcomes.”
In his collaborative work environment, Ziggi feels motivated in his role by the fact his team can make a tangible contribution to the fiscal sustainability of the State, which in turn supports the continued delivery of vital public services.
“We monitor the development and delivery of the Government Infrastructure Program, focussing on the budget process. At the core of our role is planning the State’s financial futures by bringing together a shared plan across all State agencies, and then communicating that plan to the community.”
Outside of his work, Ziggi enjoys going skiing, a passion he inherited from his father, who was a keen skier.
“Growing up in the Snowy Mountains also helped,” Ziggi smiles.
