Purpose of Position

This position is responsible for the provision of effective and efficient administrative support to multidisciplinary services accommodated within the Gateway Child & Family Health Centre.

 

This position exists in an environment of interruption and sometimes difficult public/customer relations and needs to perform a range of operational and administrative tasks under general instruction and close supervision but with discretion in selecting the most appropriate implementation of policies/procedures to ensure the desired level of service for patients and the public.

Selection Criteria

Demonstrated computer/data entry skills, specifically with MS Office products, in particular Microsoft Word, Excel and email High level of written and oral communication skills Demonstrated experience providing a range of administrative support activities. Demonstrated customer service skills and experience with a commitment to quality improvement as well as previous experience dealing with conflict and/or difficult behaviours Demonstrated understanding and/or experience working in and supporting multidisciplinary teams. Demonstrated time management and organisational skills Flexibility with hours and locations and a current NSW driver’s licence Demonstrated commitment to Caring for the Coast vision, goals and strategies, with demonstrated behaviours which align with the NSW Health CORE values and CCLHD Values and behaviours charter.
