The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Engineering Program Manager to be a part of our Digital Engineering team within Transport for NSW. This position plays a key role in managing the implementation and the deliverables/outputs of the Digital Engineering work streams and initiatives throughout the Transport Cluster.

The Digital Engineering Program Manager is responsible development of staff education and industry capability assessment programs, development of information requirements for consistent procurement of Digital Engineering, collaboration with Asset Standards Authority to develop of Digital Engineering standards and guidance documents, optimisation of Transport for NSW Integrated Management System to manage and utilise Digital Engineering, determining business requirements for IT to enable and support Digital Engineering.

This role is accountable for the delivery and management of Digital Engineering work stream projects, as part of the Digital Engineering Framework Program, within clearly defined scope, time, cost and outcome constraints.

This position reports directly to the Digital Engineering Director. Reporting directly to the Digital Engineering Program Director is a number of Workstream Lead positions, plus seconded, assigned and contracted personnel, professional service contractors and other contracted entities, which may change from time to time depending on the nature and scope of the project

We are looking for a hardworking professional who has an advanced capability to inspire direction and purpose as well as an advanced level of project management skills. The successful applicant should have experience in a similar role and have a passion to deliver high performance and results.

Essential requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management, or a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
