About the Opportunity

The role will operate in a fast-paced and changeable project environment, requiring the ability to be flexible and manage competing and conflicting priorities. The successful candidate must have senior experience in applying various project management methodologies, tools and processes to achieve successful project delivery. 


Job Notes

This is a temporary role in accordance with the Government Sector Employment Act 2013 for a period of up to two years. 

A Recruitment Pool may be created to fill similar roles for both ongoing and temporary opportunities if and as they arise.

Targeted Questions

To apply candidates must submit a covering letter (2 pages maximum) which includes a response to the two (2) targeted questions below plus an up-to-date resume which clearly details their skills and experience as relevant to this role.

1. Please provide an example from your recent work experience of a complex project that you managed, including examples of how you negotiated outcomes and met timeframes.

2. What do collaborative networks and partnerships mean to you in the context of internal partners and external agencies? Please provide an example of a time when you have had to use your communication skills in a difficult situation involving an external client/organisation. What were the challenges and how did you overcome them?

Part of the assessment process may include additional online capability testing, skills testing or work samples in accordance with the new Government Sector Employment Act 2013, therefore you may be contacted to participate. You will also be asked to complete a Health Declaration Form in later stages of the assessment process.
