Cleopatra

“It’s fun.”

“I get to organise events such as Dragon Boat Racing, National Ride to Work Day, and other exciting activities,” enthuses Cleopatra Nam, Western NSW Local Health District (LHD) Wellbeing Coordinator.

“My job is to encourage staff to be healthy and promote wellbeing at work.”

In her role, Cleopatra works on a wide variety of projects.

“I work with a great team, and we’ve been involved in launching the ‘Your Health Our Future’ logo that was developed by Western NSW LHD as a recognisable brand specifically for internal staff-related wellness programs. I’ve also been involved in creating a health and wellbeing intranet page that focusses on staff health,” she explains.

Cleopatra has also played a part in the swimming challenge, raising awareness of mental and physical health issues, and promoting Fitness Passport to staff members.

“I love this job because I get the opportunity to use my skills to contribute to a healthier workplace,” she explains.

Outside of work, Cleopatra maintains wellbeing in her personal life too.

“I travel, run, play basketball and enjoy a good book at times,” she says.

At the moment, Cleopatra is working together with her team to implement their next projects which include the ‘Challenge Your Waist’ competition and a walking challenge.

“These are very exciting times,” she says.
