Daniel

“I always look at what’s possible.”

“Leading collaboration is important to me,” says Daniel, Director, Performance and Project Management for the NSW Department of Family and Community Services.

“I have the opportunity to improve outcomes for our vulnerable families, which requires me to identify where we can improve programs and services. I’m accountable for leading improvement every day.”

In his day-to-day work, Daniel leads teams which manage projects, lead change initiatives, and conduct program analytics to drive reform and service improvements across programs, projects and services, to improve outcomes for vulnerable children and families.

“Personally, I have the chance to influence the shaping of services and policies. When I look at my colleagues, I get a great sense of accomplishment when we’re able to progress outcomes for people and enhance their lives,” he explains.

When he’s not working to improve the lives of vulnerable families and children in our community, Daniel enjoys the smaller things in life.

“I can really enjoy watching a B-grade horror movie or having a quiet night to read Russian literature,” he says.
