“I enjoy helping to provide solutions for student problems.”

There’s never a dull moment at work for Linda, School Administration Manager for NSW Department of Education. Whether it’s managing school finances or helping resolve issues for students, Linda deals with the ever-changing day-to-day administrative needs of her school.

Her responsibilities include management of all school finances and casual staff wages, payment of bills and accounts, management of student payments, excursions, presentation assemblies and enrolments, and troubleshooting problems of all nature across the school.

It’s this variety, as well as the daily interactions she has with people both across and outside of the school, that keeps Linda highly motivated in her role.

“I love that every day is different,” she enthuses.

“I enjoy the interaction I have with students, staff and the wider community. It’s a constantly changing work environment.”

Outside of school, Linda also enjoys gardening, travelling, and spending time with her family.
