Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW) delivers professional correctional services and programs to reduce the risk of re-offending and enhance public safety. It ensures offenders who are required to be held in custody are removed from the general community and placed in a safe, secure and humane environment.

 

In this role you will be required to work closely with the State Sentence Administration Team and provide high level assistance to the Finance and Administration Manager.  You will be required to liaise with key internal and external stakeholders.

 

As a highly motivated and results driven Administrative Assistant, you will maintain confidentiality at all times. High attention to detail and accuracy, provision of excellent customer service, and the ability to work under pressure are key attributes.

 

Undertake with minimal supervision, individually or as part of a work team, correctional centre sentence administration, general administrative and clerical duties.  Duties will include but not limited:


  • State Sentence Administration Duties
  • Reception and clerical duties
  • Records management
  • Stores and asset management
  • Data entry
  • Electronic archiving
  • Answer Switchboard incoming phone calls
  • Provide statistical information as required 
  • Provide support for Inmate Accounts 
  • Provide administrative support to Manager of Security
  • Attend to all miscellaneous duties as required 
  • Follow administrative systems and processes to ensure that all information is accurate, stored correctly and accessible as required
