The opportunity

 

We have an exciting opportunity for 4x experienced program management professionals to be a part of our Sydney Trains Team within the Planning and Delivery Division within Sydney Trains. These Business Readiness Interface Manager positions play a key role in delivery of business readiness initiatives and report to the Associate Director Business Readiness Interface.

 

The right candidate should be able to drive assigned business readiness to ensure planned business requirements, program or project deliverables, schedules and benefits are met. He/ She should be able to establish and implement robust processes, should have the capacity to engage, manage and negotiate with senior stakeholders and manage programs delivering transformational change.

 

We are looking for a professional with extensive experience in large enterprise business readiness who has proven planning, problem solving, analytical and negotiation skills with the ability to work through issues that involve multiple stakeholders. The right candidate will also need to have experience in aligning HR, IR and other change management disciplines into a comprehensive business readiness program.

  1. Extensive large enterprise business readiness, experience, capability and assurance skills to govern project implementation into “business as usual” across a range of project types e.g. change, business system, civil, transport
  2. Demonstrated experience in planning and influencing the flow of business readiness activities through the project lifecycle and negotiating with stakeholders to align business resources so that projects meet timelines
  3. Broad experience in aligning HR, IR and other change management disciplines into a comprehensive business readiness program
  4. Proven planning, problem solving, analytical and negotiation skills with the ability to work through issues that involve multiple stakeholders with competing project implementation priorities.
  5. Proven team management skills with the ability to build a culture of accountability and performance
  6. Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills  and highly skilled at engaging, influencing and building relationships with stakeholders
  7. Competent in the use of personal computers and commercial software packages to enable business readiness interface management including; SAP, Primavera, MS Project
  8. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
