The Role

The SkillsPoint Industry Relationship Lead - Floristry & Retail is responsible for engaging with state and national employers, peak bodies and strategic partners around the design of qualifications in the floristry & retail industries. Applying your exceptional relationship management skills, you will ensure new TAFE NSW training products are future focused and meet current and emerging industry needs. You will provide a single point of contact for external stakeholders, and are responsible for ensuring TAFE NSW's training prepares graduates to be work ready. You will also provide high level industry advice, as required.


You will be able to demonstrate your ability to manage and coordinate a collaborative environment, contribute to strategic planning and policy formation, to increase the training efficiency of TAFE NSW.


Ideally you will possess the following;

  • Degree qualification in floristry & retail or related field or equivalent significant experience.
  • Proven record of success in managing strategic relationships in a complex and dynamic operating environments.
  • High level organisational and managements skills, including the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement in an environment focused on customer service.
  • Ability to provide high level advice and industry insights
  • Collaborative and influential leadership experience, with an ability to communicate effectively across diverse environments
