Position Information

The NSW Department of Education provides, funds and regulates education services for NSW students from early childhood to secondary school, delivering world-class education through its public schools and providing funding support to non-government schools. We employ, develop and support teachers, leaders and other staff to deliver the best outcomes for students and to advance the wellbeing of Aboriginal people.

 About the Role

To be successful in the role you will need to have strong planning and prioritising skills and good communication skills to enable you to work effectively with others. Within this role, you will work independently and within a team environment.

The role supervises the daily operation of the health care centre; this includes provision of health facilitation services and the administration of first aid to boarders and day students attending a boarding school. You will be responsible for maintaining appropriate records regarding health facilitation services and the administration of first aid in accordance with local procedures and departmental requirements Other related duties of the role, within the skills and competencies of the Matron as directed by the Principal.
