TAFE NSW Eora College is renowned in Sydney as a Centre of Excellence for Visual and Performing Arts and Aboriginal Education.
 
Eora College offers training in Aboriginal Culture, Aboriginal languages, Creative and Performing Arts and much more. Eora has a strong responsive focus on the education and training needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and has partnerships with many industry and community organisations who promote real careers and further study opportunities.
 
We are currently inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced Aboriginal people who wish to be considered for placement on a suitability list to deliver training in one or more of the following subject areas:
 
  • Aboriginal Cultural Arts
  • Aboriginal Cultural and Political Studies
  • Aboriginal Languages
  • Dance and Theatre
  • Music
  • Screen and Media
 
Your Key responsibilities will include:
  • Face-to-face and flexible course delivery to a range of students.
  • Preparing/updating teaching materials prior to each class.
  • Creating assessment tools appropriate to the subject and validating with the coordinator.
  • Marking assessments, providing constructive feedback and supervising students.
  • Tracking student attendance and academic results.
  • Participating in meetings as needed.
  • Collaborating with other staff to deliver and improve course content and outcomes.
