This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Physiotherapist to work as part of the SCHN Palliative Care service at Randwick and at bear Cottage in Manly. The position is 12 months temporary part time (24 hours per week)

What you'll be doing
Physiotherapist Level 4 Paediatric Palliative Care - Temporary Part Time (24 Hrs per week)
The physiotherapist will provide clinical services to inpatients and/or outpatients as determined by the particular role. The physiotherapist will provide evidence based care within a multidisciplinary and family centred context, and utilise holistic physiotherapy models of care. Participation is required in ongoing education, teaching, evidence based practice and quality improvement activities.
The Level 4 Physiotherapist will contribute at an advanced level to:
  • Planning, development and evaluation of physiotherapy services.
  • Development, implementation and evaluation of policies, procedures and practice guidelines for patient care in the SCHN palliative care service including Bear Cottage, Manly.
Liaison with community based services relevant to the patient population
