Location: Haymarket. Relocating to Parramatta late 2019 or early 2020.

About the Role
OEH’s Policy Division supports the Minister and OEH Executive by leading the development of strategic policy, influencing whole-of-government and national policy formation, and providing policy advice. 

Each Policy Officer prepares policy advice and does research and analysis to contribute to the review or development of policy or legislative and regulatory reforms.

A core part of the Policy Division function is to consider complex problems and design innovative policy solutions – your role in this may include:
• Consulting with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs
• Undertaking qualitative and quantitative research and analysis
• Thinking creatively to identify innovative solutions
• Collaborating with internal and external partners to identify options
• Preparing briefs, discussion papers, reports and submissions using a clear, plain English writing style
• Coordinating working groups, committees and stakeholder consultation using your strong organisational skills
