Job Title: Project Officer
Job Grade / Classification: Clerk Grade 7/8
Employment Type: Full Time, Ongoing
Location: Parramatta
 
  • Deliver and support Fire and Incident Management Branch (FIMB) and statewide incident coordination
  • Develop Standard Operating Guidelines (SOG) and procedures for frontline service delivery
  • Support frontline EBMP delivery including specific EBMP related projects, and operational business-as-usual tasks for example hazard reduction resource coordination and rapid aerial response team (RART) coordination with Park Operations fire teams

National Parks and Wildlife Service manages, conserves and cares for land in national parks and reserves. NPWS links customer, conservation and cultural outcomes in a sustainable way by building participation in the management and use of parks.
 
Essential requirements
  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent relevant working experience in project management.
  • Experience in development and delivery of projects, including the development of project plans, monitoring of project timelines, budgets and reporting requirements, and contract administration.
