“The customer is at the centre of everything.”

“I help customers by answering their queries, assisting them with their luggage, and giving them information about train services,” says Bhrikuti, Customer Service Attendant for Transport for NSW. 

“We help to plan their journey.”  

Most of the time, you’ll find Bhrikuti on the platform at one of Sydney’s train stations doing what she loves - helping customers.  

“I have a diverse role to play as a customer service attendant, which I very much enjoy,” she enthuses.

Her diverse role involves answering customer queries throughout the day, inspecting station environments, recording train movements, delivering information on delays, and supporting with crowd management. 

“It keeps me busy!” she says.

As she’s often on her feet all day at work, Bhrikuti likes to put her feet up with a good game on TV after work. 

“I love to follow the footy!” she says.
