Sarah

“It’s all about the people for me.”

“I enjoy meeting such a wide variety of people who do such interesting work,” says Sarah, HealthShare NSW Senior Organisational Development Advisor.

“Our organisation is so diverse, so learning about the different services we provide has been a really valuable experience for me.”

In her role, Sarah is responsible for creating a positive workplace culture.

“I love that my work supports staff to feel more satisfied and engaged at work. We spend more time at work than with our loved ones, so I want people to feel their work brings purpose and meaning,” she says.

Transforming the workplace at Ministry of Health is a big remit, but offers great opportunities.

“We partner with the organisation to enact positive change and develop and coach leaders. In order to find the right people for the right roles, we also introduced psychometric assessments,” Sarah explains.

Outside of work, Sarah likes to stay social.

“I love to spend my time with friends, family and my adorable dog,” she says.

Sarah thinks it’s also important to keep developing and learning, and is now completing a PhD in Psychology.
