“I like meeting new challenges.”

“Working for the Government is a really great experience. I’m in a dynamic work environment. My role gives me exposure to a variety of matters and problems to solve, by working closely with our advisors and other parts of Government,” says Jacinta Ching, Senior Analyst for NSW Treasury.

Jacinta and her colleagues work to ensure the Government gets value-for-money from electricity networks’ transactions. They also provide advice on matters to the Treasurer and Cabinet to enable their decision-making process.

“It’s exciting to know that the work the team does has a direct impact on the people of NSW, as the sale proceeds from transactions we’re working on will be returned in the form of new infrastructure,” Jacinta says.

Jacinta explains there’s a strong culture of developing, training and supporting employees at NSW Treasury.

“I’m keen to learn, and I’ve always felt supported in my personal development,” she says.

Jacinta looks forward to continuing on her exciting career path. But for now, she’s looking for a new challenge in scuba diving.

“The ocean has so many secrets to uncover!” she enthuses.
