Director, Powerhouse Program

Senior Executive Band 1

Ongoing, full-time

The Director, Powerhouse Program will lead the conceptual and curatorial development and delivery of an applied arts and applied sciences program across the four Powerhouse sites - Parramatta, Ultimo, Castle Hill and Sydney Observatory.  You will collaborate locally, nationally, and internationally to create an ambitious, culturally relevant and dynamic program that sits at the forefront of redefining museum practice.

You will have:

  • Extensive experience in managing and delivering complex interdisciplinary projects
  • Strong track record of working with diverse communities and audiences and a commitment to inclusion, relevance and diversity
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of museum practice.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
