About us: 

The Department of Justice provides an effective justice system by delivering programs and services which contribute to building safe communities and the protection of rights.

Property and Asset Services Branch (PAS) is responsible for the administration of the department's assets, including, major and minor construction projects, maintenance of owned and leased property portfolios, planning for the department’s asset base and managing the department’s vehicle fleet and environmental and heritage responsibilities.

About the role:

The Finance and Administration Team Leader is responsible for managing a team of staff to deliver general administration and to provide regular reporting financial oversight across all PAS projects.

What are we looking for?

Tertiary qualifications in business or equivalent industry experience
Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of reporting and finance processes and procedures
Ability to work collaboratively, and effectively manage competing priorities to ensure the delivery of Department of Justice objectives and priorities
Develop capabilities of team members and promote a culture of integrity and professionalism with an emphasis on quality and client oriented service.
