About the role

In this role you will:

  • provide a range of clerical and administrative services including but not limited to, processing legal documentation and preparing correspondence
  • liaise with the various stakeholders, Government departments and the general public
  • provide basic referral information services to clients to support the effective and efficient operation of legal services within Legal Aid NSW
These roles are based in our Newcastle Offices in Bolton Street and Hunter Street.

About you

High level administration skills and attention to detail, strong communication skills both verbal and written. You will be a dynamic person who enjoys working in a fast paced and varying environment, have strong typing and computer skills including experience using different software and the ability to learn new systems. A strong commitment to client service and being a team player is key for this role.

 

The essential requirements for this role

  • Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to your commencement
  • Complete a Criminal Record Check and/or Working with Children Check (a criminal record does not necessarily mean you cannot be employed)
  • Hold Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency or hold a valid visa to work in Australia for temporary vacancies
  • Hold Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency for ongoing vacancies
