The role


We are looking for an exceptional Program Director Planning, Place & Strategy to lead a team of high performing Directors and their specialist teams responsible for the four key streams of planning, sustainability, design and place excellence across our programs.   


This role is key to helping the Directors run their areas with lasting outcomes for both the community and the organisation. You will be a strong leader who believes in developing your team, guiding them and empowering them to deliver in a collaborative and challenging environment. You will work objectively with stakeholders and be transparent & open in your approach.


You will be experienced in operating in a matrix multi-disciplinary team environment. You will understand consistency in the philosophy of the teams’ approach across diverse programs and drive performance.

  • Agile Learners - You will be open to dealing with change and demonstrate flexibility in the face of uncertainty. You will adapt well to changing demands and priorities.
  • Effective Leaders - You are experienced in leading and managing teams and remain resilient when faced with challenges.
  • Proactive Achievers – You have substantial relevant industry experience including developing business cases, urban planning, systems management, policy formulation and development.

You will need to bring with you tertiary qualifications in property development, economics, financial management, urban planning or project management or a discipline relevant to our activities or this role.
