Position Information

Penrith Selective High Schoolis a full academically selective high school with an enrolment of 925 students, including 80% students from a non-English speaking background. Selection Criteria

Approval to teach Mathematics 7-10 and Mathematics 11-12.


Demonstrated skills and/or experience teaching Mathematics Extension 1 and 2.


Understanding the needs of gifted and talented learners and demonstrated capacity to create differentiated units of work to engage highly gifted students.


Capacity to integrate technology into effective classroom practice in meaningful ways.


An ability to work independently and as part of a committed faculty team and contribute to whole school activities.


Understanding of and the ability to cater for the needs of students from non-English speaking background.
