TEACH.RURAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
HSC students, or current university students completing teacher training no earlier than the end of 2019, you could get paid while you study to become a primary or secondary teacher in a rural or remote NSW public school. Up to 60 teach.Rural scholarships are available.
teach.Rural Scholars receive:
• $7,500 per year of full time study, up to a maximum of five years
• $500 per week while completing a rural practicum
• up to $50,000 equivalent upfront course contribution fee
• a permanent teaching job in a rural or remote NSW public school on completion of studies
• a further $6000 on completion of studies.

TEACHER EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
HSC students, university students and career changers, you could get paid while you study to become a teacher of a high-demand subject area. Up to 220 Teacher Education Scholarships are available for future teachers of mathematics, science (with physics), selected Technological and Applied Studies subjects or special education (K-12).
Up to 80 Teacher Education Scholarships are available for Aboriginal people and Torres Strait Islanders to Join our Mob and train as primary or secondary teachers.
Teacher Education Scholars receive:
• $5,000 per year of full time study, up to a maximum of five years
• a permanent teaching job in an agreed location on completion of studies
• a further $3,000 on completion of studies.

GREAT TEACHING, INSPIRED LEARNING CADETSHIP PROGRAM
HSC students, you could get paid to work as a part-time paraprofessional in a school while you study to become a secondary or special education teacher. Cadets gain valuable knowledge and skills under the guidance and supervision of experienced teachers. Up to 30 Great Teaching, Inspired Learning (GTIL) Cadetships are available.
GTIL Cadets receive:
• a part-time job while studying
• experience in a school before graduating
• a permanent teaching position on completion of studies.
GREAT TEACHING, INSPIRED LEARNING INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Teacher education students entering their final year of study in 2019, you could get paid to work part-time in a school while you complete your studies to become a secondary or special education teacher with a Great Teaching, Inspired Learning (GTIL) Internship. Interns gain valuable knowledge and skills under the guidance and supervision of experienced teachers. Up to 30 GTIL Internships are available for 2019.
GTIL Interns receive:
• a part-time job in final year of study
• experience in a school before graduating
• a permanent teaching position on completion of studies.
